Rubbish were moved to the ocean between 1906 and 1967 by the residents of Fort Bragg. This formed glass sea and beaches located in MacKerricher State Park near Fort Bragg, California.

It takes a long time to get to the beach Papakōlea in Hawaii, but it is worth to see the extraordinary, green beach. This colour comes from the mineral olivine. There are only two such beaches in the world, which have green sand, the second one is Talofofo, Guam.
