There are thousands of logical puzzles in the Internet that differ in difficulty. Some are childishly simple, others are almost impossible to solve.
The puzzle we propose today is not the easiest one, and the opinion that only the smartest people can solve it has been circulating the Internet. It has nothing to do with making calculations or looking for a cat among cows. You don’t need to have extensive mathematical knowledge. All you need is a quick mind and the ability to analyze.
This puzzle has been circulating around the Internet for a long time. If you haven’t come across it on Facebook or on quiz sites, we encourage you to have some fun. It seems easy, but it’s actually really tricky and requires unconventional thinking. If you focus and think for a bit, you might be able to solve it. It wasn’t created just by anybody. It’s the work of a wise woman from Russia.
It was developed by a Soviet mathematician, Tania Chowanowa. She completed her studies and completed her doctorate in Russia in 1988. She is allegedly now working in the United States at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. This is one of the best scientific schools in the world. Chowan ran a blog dedicated to mathematics for some time, and it was on this blog in 2009 that she posted this famous puzzle.
