“Made in China” is the most popular sign in the world.
China has been at the forefront of countries that produce and export many goods for the past several years. Residents of this country specialize in fast and inexpensive production of almost all industrial products. Unfortunately, the low price of Asian products is due to their poor quality, poor production conditions and the exploitation of workers.
Going to the store, we don’t even know how many of the goods come from distant China. Among those goods is garlic, prized for centuries, as a food that has many medicinal properties and is used in the folk medicine of many nations.
All garlic is not equal and it’s better to choose the domestic garlic than one imported from China. The fact that Chinese garlic must travel thousands of miles to find itself on the shelf of a neighborhood store, should be cause for concern, because such a long trip requires effective conservation.
More on the reasons for the harmfulness of Chinese garlic and the methods to recognize it on the following pages.
