The technique used by this man goes back thousands of years. It’s called “cordwood” and consists in setting peeled wooden rings on the renovated surface. Splints should be mounted with adhesive very close to each other. To keep gaps between them as small as possible they used a hammer. In the end it’s all covered in a special hardener. To achieve an original effect, the discs should have different shapes, colours and textures.
