Irresponsible animal owners should be severely punished and penalized so that they remember once and for all that animals also feel pain and fear.
Many of have dreamed of having a pet since childhood. A cat, dog or even a hamster or a canary. These requests were granted by some parents, believing that they would teach the child responsibility and empathy. Because, as much as the animal brings about happiness, it also carries a great deal of duties and work with it. Animals need to be taken care of every day, whether or not we want to do it.
It is very important to realize that a living animal is not only a cuddle buddy but also a duty. Dogs must be taken out several times a day, and their coat and claws must be taken care of. Like a cat, they have to have a clean litter box, water and neat claws and fur. Every pet, regardless of their species, must have hygienic conditions and a clean place to live. Many people forget about it when the initial joy of having a pet passes.
And then these unwanted pets end up in shelters and nursing homes or end up living in tragic conditions, abandoned in the woods or in the street. These sorts of people are bothered by the fact that animals have their own needs, and that when they’re left at home bored they can destroy the place. Therefore, before a person decides to have an animal, he or she should learn as much as possible about it.
Just knowing what an animal needs, their build and personality, can protect an owner from having problems, and the animal from suffering. It’s important to know that if you love not having hair on your couch it’s better to buy a pug and not a husky.
It’s the same with other animals, like horses and ponies, if the owner doesn’t know how to care for his or her animal, it can cause them a lot of suffering. This was the case for the Shetland pony, whose owner didn’t care at all about the fact that a pony, like every other horse, needs to have his or her hooves and fur taken care of.
