Two artists from the UK created a very poignant project. They decided to commemorate the arrival of the Allied forces in Normandy Beach in an interesting way.
They created 9000 figures on the sand silhouettes, which are symbols of fallen soldiers. They used for this purpose specially prepared templates of bodies arranged in different positions.
60 volunteers and more than 500 residents, helped to create this incredible project.
Everyone was engaged in this project, although they knew it will not last long.
9000 silhouettes were created!
