It is hard to imagine that someone would want to hurt a little, innocent seal, but unfortunately these animals often suffer human aggression.
Bryce is a tiny seal, which was found at the coast of Howard.
After receiving the call that the animal is in danger, the Alaska Sea Life Centre staff rushed to help her. After the veterinary examination it turned out that the animal is blind. Most likely it lost the sight by a blow to the head while was still a baby.
It was surprising that Bryce, who is now about eight months old managed to survive, learn to understand the world around and function normally through the sense of hearing, smell and touch!
Looking at Bryce, it’s hard to figure out that it does not see. It really learned to live with his disability!
