Could this american breakfast staple be anymore delicious? Until yesterday I thought no, but then I gave this recipe a try. I was speechless, pancakes were sweeter and more fluffier! Give this recipe a try, You’ll not be dissapointed 🙂
Ingredients:
- 2 large cups,
- 3/4 cup buttermilk,
- 1/4 cup sugar,
- 1/4 teaspoon salt,
- 1 1/2 cups flour,
- 1 tsp. baking powder,
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda,
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil.
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla (optional)
- maple syrup, honey, butter, raspberry jam as a topping. (for me it was raspberry jam, it was spot on, not too sweet 🙂 )
Preparation:
- In a bowl (or a blender), add eggs, buttermilk, sugar, salt and vanilla (optional). Mix for 20-30 seconds until combined (or blend for a few seconds on lowest speed).
- Add flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Mix until the batter is copletely combined (or blend for 15-20 seconds).
