The company Mars has just initiated a massive rollback operation of some of their products. Spokesman Roul Hamacher recently reported that Snickers, Mars, some Milky Way brand products and also products from the Celebrations collection with a date of expiration from 19 June 2016 to 8 January 2017 will be immediately eliminated from the market.
For now, they’re supposed to disappear from German, French and Dutch store shelves. Apparently, up to three million candy bars produced in the Veghel factory in Southern Holland are to be discontinued from stores and vending machines in the one country alone. According to Radio Zet, the plan to withdraw the candy was announced following a complaint of a customer from Germany, who came across pieces of plastic in a candy bar.
