Richly stuffed bread. Guess what’s inside?
I’ve returned to recipes for stuffed bread. I’ve already made a simple version (stuffed-bread), now it’s time for a more advanced version. I was inspired by recipes for a stuffed baguette, but I’ve added a few changes. Instead of ready-made sausages, I used minced meat, which I think fits this recipe perfectly.
The advantage of this stuffed bread is that you can use it as a dip. Of course, nothing is wasted here. The inside of the bread is baked with butter/garlic oil, creating a tasty crouton. Delicious 🙂
Ingredients:
- 1 square sourdough bread,
- 4 garlic cloves, chopped,
- 2 tbsp butter,
- 2 tbsp olive oil,
- 1 medium onion,
- 4 oz ground beef,
- 1 tsp chopped parsley,
- 6 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced,
- 4 slices of cheese,
- 8 oz tomato sauce.
