The Met Ball is an annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York. It takes place every year on the first Monday in May and guests the biggest stars of the film and music world.
It is the most important evening in the fashion world, attracting more celebrities and famous people than the Oscars. Met Ball is a theme party and guests dress appropriately to the theme of the expo. This year’s theme is “Manus x Machina” (fashion in the era of technology). The stars interpreted the theme fairly well and appeared in various modern creations. American actress Claire Danes’ gown aroused the greatest interest.
