She connected 4 metal containers with each other. When I saw how they came out, I was speechless with wonder!
Claudie Dubreuil from Quebec in Canada is famous for making nonstandard projects. She eagerly uses various materials and goes with ecological solutions. Her company – Collections Dubreuil aldready made a lol of unconventional ventures, but this is special.
Not only because it is the designers own house, but because she connects materials that appear to be useless. At first, Claudie was interested in four metal containers. She sketched a preliminary design and joined them together. This way a metal framework for a house was made, which was later covered with light wood. If you think it already looks impressive, wait till you see how it looks on the inside!

Wow, it’s beautiful, but if this lady lives in Québec like they say, she’s going to need lots of insulation otherwise she’s going to freeze to death. It’s really cold in Québec in the Winter and when we see the interior of her house, all we see on the walls and ceiling is only paint. Anyone has another explanation ????
The containers are not flat and by adding just a few inches of space between them, it leaves plenty of room for isolation on the exterior while leaving the inside as we see it on the pictures. It doesn’t require that thick to isolate adequately if it’s done properly with the right materials.
Bold and smart, and the result is stunning!
