Many women entering the role of a mother, forget about themselves and their needs, devoting themselves 100% to their child.
This is beautiful and important, but also dangerous because it can have a negative effect on their personal lives, and their relationship. It’s worth it to be a little bit selfish and at least once, twice a week, find time for just yourself. The child has a father, after all, who should also feel the hardships of parenting and find out that caring for a child is not a piece of cake.
After the birth of her daughter Isabella in 2013, Betsy, always struggling with her weight, put on weight to the point that she weighed 260 pounds. This was her heaviest weight ever. Unfortunately, her husband showed her no support or understanding. He didn’t help out with their daughter so that the woman could exercise, but instead began to spend more time outside of the home, of course, without his wife. On top of this, he publicly made fun of his wife for her weight.
