Young Eugenia was only 20 years old when she felt in her heart a call and joined the Congregation of the Sisters of Our Lady of the Apostles. Only five years later, she was elected head of the whole congregation. As superior mother, she had more power and ability. She took a very important job, it was 1936 when she began her journey to the poorest parts of the world. She has opened about 70 missionary centers in Africa, Asia and Europe
She even found a cure for leprosy! All her activities, as she always claimed, were dictated by what God himself had given her in the revelations she had received during the prayer of 1932. She wrote in two thick notebooks. They addressed the local bishop, the pope, Christians, and finally the whole of humanity.
