There are vocalists you may not like, but we immediately recognize them and know they’re really talented.
In a world where everyone can release a CD and claim to be an artist, real jewels are hard to find. We are flooded with songs that are produced for a specific purpose, to help us have a good time, and they’re played so often that we get sick of them. And then we forget who sings the song at all and whether they had any other song on the charts.
Songs with just 4 notes get boring quickly. Of course they’re useful when you want to dance or relax to them. However, there is also music, lyrics and artists who demand from their listeners that they devote time to getting to know the song, its message, and the often-complicated melody. These songs and these types of vocalists or bands live forever. You don’t have to love them, but you do appreciate their value.
Chris Cornell belongs to these singers, a vocalist in the group Audioslave and Soundgarden, who also released solo projects. He will never be forgotten thanks to his contributions to the development of grunge and alternative rock. The news of his death shocked many fans all over the world. The way he had control over his voice is shown in the song “Black Hole Sun”, where
someone removed the instrumental sound so you can only hear the artist’s vocals.
Our eyes are tearing up!
