A pack of lions encountered a small fox, what happened is unbelievable!
Life in the animal kingdom is not easy, you have to look for food every day and watch out not to be someone’s dinner. Lions are one of the most terrifying creatures in the animal kingdom and there’s a reason for that. These predators had been working on their skill of killing for generations.
They always put their survival in first place. That’s why onlookers, who saw a group of lions encounter a small hurt fox on their way, were expecting the worst.
A lioness saw a small fox on a dusty road. The little thing was scared of this encounter.
I’ve seen this video, the lioness injured the foxcub then had a change of heart
Lionesses do the hunting, not the lions. So she picks who to eat for dinner while lazy ass male lion goes and screws more of the lionesses in the pride while pushing out his own male offspring.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EjY_CSLUIiI
sounds like our politicians
These Lions also do not look very hungry. If they were hungry, the Fox may be toast. However, Nature is Truly a Wonder!
The video of the 3 male lions attacking a Female Water Buffaloe and its fresh baby, is really sad. The Mother has just delivered the newborn with the birth sac still trailing her . This looks like a set up for the video, as its in a freshly mowed grass area, with three healthy, big male lions all together. I’ve not seen three male adult lions living and hunting together in all my years of travelling Wild Lion country in East Africa. Or was this filmed in a Game Park?
Please clarify.
Also spent time in Africa – sibling lions will live and hunt together – usually two to four to a pack, sometimes (but rarely) up to eight – lots of documentaries on this! Even Dr. Google has his opinion!
Not True, for the most part yes, but Males DO HUNT AS WELL, Duh, theres actually a video of it at the bottom of this post
It’s not so easy for the lions. It might look fun and easy to being screwing lioness after lioness but, in reality, that comes at a huge price; continual physical effort at (each) job currently in hand, listening to continual moaning from the lionesses about how undervalued in society they are, anxiety at the prospect that the lioness is a tart and that some other lion might have been there a few minutes before, caution at the risk that she’s going to change her mind and complain to the authorities (especially if the cheque doesn’t clear) and, last but not least, the risk that he might get a whack just because she feels like it.
I’ve been walking around this Savannah, mating all day.
The last thing I need when I come home is your nagging.
and dinner is cold, again !
Is it so hard to make a HOT dinner ?
get me a beer.
She was probably just keeping the fox meat fresh for the cub’s later snack.
She was probably just keeping the meat fresh for the cub’s late night snack.
I suspect the lioness was short sighted and thought th e fox was one of her cubs
I didn’t think it was going to be an actual fox. I was expecting Cathy Ireland or Christy Brinkley maybe with a lion. Wink!
Who is spelling lion as loin?
i know. it annoyed me to no end too. it made me think of this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fdcleUk-T4U At least when she spelled it, she also misspelled it as lion, so maybe she could’ve written this article lol
They were hoping Tarzan would show up minus his loin cloth lol
rosencrentz,
At least it was actually just a typo in the story because it was spelled correctly throughout the rest of the story! It would have been much worse if they spelled it wrong the entire time. That’s why human proofreaders should still be a vital resource for everything. Computers still aren’t as smart as some humans when it comes to deciding that although LOIN is a word, it was not the cortrect word. In fact, just typing this, I have had to override auto-correct at least 6 times, including re-typing your name 3 times! LOL!
As a former journalist (150 year ago) I well remember the proofreaders..they were well educated, knew their community well and often saved our bacon – either by picking up typo’s or knowing the correct spelling of a local name. Now they have to correct their own work which is extremely hard, as one tends not to see anything but what we MEANT to write.
Did they not pick up on YOUR typos?
How can people enjoy watching a kill I just don’t understand, I know its nature but I still can’t watch itXX
what was that white stuff that came out of the buffalo’s arse as it span around?
The calf is new born. The white stuff is the bag the baby was in inside Mom, that comes out when she cleans out the afterbirth. The smell of the birth, blood and fluids is what brings in the predators for an easy meal.
Spun not span..!!!
But the last photo you can see a small fur skin laying on the ground where the for sitting! Are you sure are you telling the truth. I have sickening feeling they ate the poor little fox. 🙁
lol that was dung
That’s a big pile of animal poop!!
“where the for sitting”..mmm…and theres NO fur there…thats shit in the background..lol.
What are you trying to say. Don’t you proof read?????
“These predators had been working on their skill of killing for generations” – Are lions extinct now?
Almost. They’re just writing it this way so when we kill them all off they won’t have to go back and edit.
This is nothing to do with the fox. The biggest danger to her cubs would come from a male lion. If the cubs are not his he will kill them to bring the female into season quickly so that he can beget some cubs with his genes. The fox was showing submission behaviour and was thus associated with the cubs rather than with dinner.
I don’t see a video of the fox and lion encounter. I wonder if the pictures are photoshopped??
They used Photoshop to crop out the AK47 the fox was carrying.
The way the fox is sitting, it looks very sick or injured. Maybe the female already had a bite out of him.
The fox is still alive when the |Lion has gone. still with mum and cubs.
Nah! That’s elephant dung you can see there. And there’s not a drop of blood on the sand. The little beast hasn’t been eaten – not in those pics, anyway. So let’s hope he really did get away, poor little beggar!
Darwin did not say ‘…survival of the fittest’, he actually said ‘…survival of the fittest to adapt’. This is why ‘social Darwinism’, is a load of shit!!!
I think Darwin meant “survival of the fattest”. After all, I’m fat and I’m 74.
Everybody seems to be making spelling errors, as when you are speaking in the past tense, for example, “Who spelled Lion as Loin wrong?” Should read, “Who spelt Lion as Loin?”
As for the photographs, they showed a very touching story, whatever the truth may be.
swpelling nazi i wil spel ho i wan if peole dot lik it too bad maybe your brains to weak to filter the spelling errors
I think we can all agree that a supposed ‘newspaper’ should get its spellings correct, if nothing else
What Crap. ..spelt.. C R A P ..!!!!!!!
Good call Jim. You spell however you want bro. It makes me happy that you don’t let the haters get you down….and that you can still participate in the world despite your obvious retardation. More power to ya mate
Really?? That’s your contribution Barbara? You really go around correcting people’s (check my punctuation won’t you) spelling and correcting them? Because I used to be like that, but believe their literacy skills don’t matter as much as what they’re trying to say, wouldn’t you agree???????????
Spelled and Spelt are both commonly accepted in the English language . Check the Websters or the Britannica dictionary .
Mirror…if you have a story…fine….if not…why show pics that depict sod all?
That would be a pride of lions, not a “pack”.
True. Although I’m not sure just two count as a pride ?
Yes, Christians consumed by pride.
More importantly than this touching story is the fact that most “writers” these days don’t seem to know how to spell, communicate, or use grammar properly. I’m not referring to the comments, as I think most people don’t proofread or spellcheck those. Who cares. But when I read articles online these days, I feel like I’m reading something a 3rd-grader wrote. Do they not teach property writing skills this in school anymore?
“skills this in school”…??????
Your grammar is no better , Hell You don’t even know how to capitalize Your own Name , Morgan
ya gotta love the irony of their comment; (notice the last line)! LMAOROTF!!!
You might want to proofread your own work, or is this the pot calling the kettle black?
This story is just a trap. It appeared on my FaceBook page with the stunning heading “A pack of lions encountered a small fox, what happened is unbelievable!”…with a link that draws you in….and when you go looking for the “unbelievable” ending they implied, all they have is pics of a scared fox surrounded by lion/lioness……SURROUNDED BY ADVERTISEMENTS with a link that are intentionally placed there for you to access them looking for a conclusion to what happened to the fox…..that you never find….as it was only bait to begin with. I liked the internet better 5 years ago when you did not see that much of this type of misdirection.
Yep. I was disappointed too. Hoping to see a happy story. Even my Crossword Solver website has Ads which one has to wend their way through before you can get to the darned clue. It’s so annoying. I like to think of myself as an intelligent human being (delusional!) but the internet gets me every time.
Well Said!
A Canada Guy, try getting AdBlocker, I’m not sure it works with this type of misdirection type of ad but you might try it. It does a good job of keeping the other ads to a minimum.
amen bro!
Hello… A Canada Guy !
I completely agree, and really appreciate you
giving these true remarks ! 🙂
Best Regards !
Syed
I ignore the ads – I am happy just to get the story.
I agree…that was nothing but a wild goose chase!
And thennn…..
She most probably wanted it to teach her cubs how to hunt..
I can recall my father saying that nothing will eat a fox. definitely not even a dog. Maybe lions are the same.
Beautiful photography capturing Mother nature at its best
If “a mothers instinct” is so commendable, why are the majority of child murders perpetrated by mothers?
Don’t see this type of things in Canada.
Guess it is too cold? Must be much better in the USA.
I will keep my eyes open for a couple of lions – you never know!
In the last photo it looks as though the cub on the right has a dead fox in its gub? I have drunk a copious amount of cider and also tired. Cats, in general, tend to murder things whether they are hungry or not – practising for when they are hungry!
A ‘pack’ of lions??
The headline was there to poke your interest, just another way the advertising demons work to get your attention. The Internet is now just a giant billboard at the advertisers disposal. Shame….
You mean we are all hanging in suspense to see what happened to the poor fox for nothing?!
Thanks Scooby.
Your 100% correct
“poke you interest”.. I think you might mean “pique your interest”. duhhhhhhhh
I am sick and tired of all the advertising
I will not buy products advertised here.
we see way to much advertising on websites like these, these days, it ruins what would other wise be a quality website….shame
So annoying!! So what happened to the little fox??
they wrote it went back safely to where it was from. they said pack. I live in the UK and i’m happy to say a lioness has more humanity than fox hunters who try to get around our ban on fox hunting!
“..later escaped into the bush..” it said.
But left out..” where it was later eaten by jackals because injured animals dont live in the jungle-that is the Rule.”
I was more concerned that ‘ a large loin came up; !!
Reread it. Sometimes it was a lion and sometimes it was a loin. Whoever wrote it can’t spell
There are preditors and paracites. These are mainly in the advertising and banking world and far outway the natural world. Beware!
There are ‘predators and parasites’. Nothing ‘outweighs’ a natural idiot.
Jesus H Christ can’t anybody spell properly these days. It’s parasite not paracite. If you can’t spell nobody will take you seriously.
i criticizes this a group of lions is called a pride not a pack…… but other than that it’s pretty damn cool
Right you are; it’s a “pack.” Also note that a sentence begins with a capital letter, as in “I”. And, as you’re writing in the present tense, you should have said, “I criticize”, not “i criticizes.” As to where, “i criticizes this a group” comes from I have no idea?!? But then I’m being pretty critical.
Yes, you is !
You are incorrect, it is a pride of lions. And also never use a question mark followed by an exclamation mark followed by a question mark. A simple exclamation mark would suffice. Now who’s being critical.
Conjunctives are supposed to inserted somewhere after the beginning and before the end of sentences, when required.
It’s a pack of wolves and a PRIDE of LOINS…sorry lions. Please
there are 3 pages to the article ! Scroll forward to see the conclusion !
It isn’t pack or pride, the collective noun for loins is a genitalia – A genitalia of loins.
A group of mostly female lions is called a pride, and a group of male lions is called a coalition. The pride contains female lions and their young offspring, and usually has fewer than 20 members. A coalition of male lions usually includes less than 10 individuals. A coalition of male lions often fights with other coalitions to have access to the female pride. The association between a coalition and a pride usually lasts for a few years until time and danger result in a different coalition gaining access. Male lions compete to mate with the female lions, but it is the females who choose their partners. Having lived in Africa (home of the lion) all my life, I have never heard of that term….genitalia of lions hahahaha, you are such a comedian!!!
All this talk of loins has got my munchie glands working overtime. Please don’t mention fried onions and mushrooms or else I will have to break out the Chianti and Fava beans and make strange noises like “hffff uffffff uffffff”.
Oh crap Patel’s is closed – looks like Chianti and baked beans. Oh well, nothing’s perfect! MMMmmmmmm!!!
Fried onions go well with loins but not good with lions
SUPER AMAZING STORY< I WILL TELL ALL MY FRIENDS. NEVER WOULD HAVE THOURGHT THAT SOMETHING THIS BEAUTIFUL COULD HAPPEN ON EARTH !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The person who loin instead of Lion is A thick illiterate. TWAT! No excuse dumb wit.
Maybe so, however someone has to pay for a web site and a server to host it on…. so for the privilege of being able to read such great stories, i’m sure we can all scroll past a few ads.
In the last photo it looks like the remains of the fox’s fur is in the background on the path.
There’s nothing there in the other pics ….
He ‘thourghts’ aloud about ‘I criticizes’, ‘Packs of loins’, ‘preditors and paracites’ that ‘poke your interest’…..

So, did the inevitable happen?
why can’t these sites place the article on one page, no scroll and focus on the story. this page/site is a mess. all to get my attention or my money or both. I like the story, but I’m sick of these types of sites. unsubscribe.
Such a pretty and fascinating animal but can be so deadly . Although I am from a small town in Ontario Canada and have only seen them in the Zoo , I would hate to encounter on in person .
This is bs, shabby marketing ploy. Never did find out what happened. Don’t waste my time!
Unfortunately lions with small cubs sometimes don’t kill creatures because they want their cubs to get practice on how to hunt and kill. The lioness was probably keeping the fox alive so that her cubs could get some training on how to be a predator. My guess is the fox was used for practice for tracking, hunting and killing and that he did not in fact get away but was instead used for this purpose.
This is so lovely really love these photos I love lions keep them coming alan
not hard to figure out, the fox became dinner for the two Lions<<<<<
That would be a ‘pride’ of lions.
I wonder if adult foxes regard lion cubs as potential prey…
Wow, should the video go viral? or is dadubuzz.com really a pile of shit?
I think pile
Is it a metaphor of the conflict in South Peru ? Because it looks very similar to what the Peruchuku are doing to the Perununchuk, and it’s a shame. If it is, then this article is brave and amazing, if not, then it’s crap.
I put two lions encounter a fox in my browser and got the pictures with an ending. At first I put utube with it and didn’t get it.
The lioness had perfectly good reason to protect the fox. It being about the same size as her own cubs and similar looking. If the lion had started on the fox maybe it would have kept going with the cubs. Maybe an age old pattern of behavior that we have just never noticed before.
Sally’s comment is irrelevant. Hugo seems to be off on his own. “I clicked” has a comment which is badly punctuated, unnecessarily crude and also irrelevant. I assume Phil’s is meant to be a joke. Is not the internet wonderful in giving voice to the disenfranchised masses?
That would be a ‘pride’ of lions.
I wonder if adult foxes regard lion cubs as potential prey…
Pity a large lion turned into a loin.Must of been having a bad hair day.
That is when you know it is going to be one lucky fox’s day.
Have not ventured past the first three pictures but looks like it has got to be a picture for the office.
I’m wondering where these pics were taken because if this was in Africa then the pics are BS. Foxes don’t live in Africa. However, if this was in England in a wildlife park then ok, they make sense. I do not see the male lion being a threat to the fox what I see is curiosity in the way they are portraying themselves (their body language). Or, the picture of the fox was superimposed onto the road and amongst the lion pack. Either way, why does it have to be anything but what it is, beauty out in the open with mom and pop enjoying the kids and playing. Could there be anything more beautiful then a pack of cats roaming around. All that have witnessed this should know this fact, there is now only 10% of these beautiful animals remaining today. Hundreds of thousands of big cats have been murdered by mankind. What is the saying about us we are all about consumption, devouring everything that’s in our path, consume, consume, consume to the point that we as human beings have created all these near extinctions here, extinctions there, all with anything that is alive be it fauna and flora or beast, including our selves, consume. I have been watching the Nature channel way to much or perhaps not enough. I wish I was young enough because man I would get involved and try to save the cats, the elephants and the rain forests. I would get involved in fighting to save our oceans because people, I read that if something was not done now, 10 to 15 years for now we could be witnessing the death of our oceans. The coral is dying because of the pollution from us. I’m sorry I could go on an on, so I’m going to stop here. Please mankind, pick a cause and start fighting for it, I’m doing my small part but I’m old and living on a pension…at the end of my life, Please start doing………CEJY
That’s a Fennec Fox, and they inhabite North Africa.
The Lions must have eaten recently, if hungry the male would show the females who’s in charge and the young fox would have been a snack.
