Leek and broccoli are two very healthy vegetables which contain a lot of fiber and vitamin C. But not everyone prefers to consume them in its simplest form – cooked in water or steamed.

For all those who want to eat delicious and healthy we prepared a simple recipe for leek broccoli balls with cheese. We guarantee that from now on you’ll like these vegetables!

Ingredients:

  • approx. 1 ounce broccoli (35 g)
  • 2 ounces leek (55 g)
  • a clove of garlic
  • 5 ounces Cheddar cheese (150 g)
  • 4.5 ounces bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • salt and pepper
  • chili sauce (optional)

1. Cut the broccoli into small pieces and toss for 2 minutes into boiling water.

2. Drain and cut into smaller pieces. Put into a bowl, add the egg, grated cheese, breadcrumbs, garlic, leek, pepper and salt. If you want to have a spicier snack, add a little chilli sauce.
