People are learning more and more, and most importantly, want to know more about animals’ emotions.

Animals, just like people, create families and what’s more is they can create emotional relationships. Of course, they’re on all types of levels, however, mammals display the highest level emotional understanding. Elephants are capable of mourning their dead, they take care of their youngest ones as a group, and they show their feelings. Similarly, monkeys live in a group and take care of one another.

In a herd, like in a family, some like each other more than others, there are elders who want to run everything and youth who spend time playing. Macaques in India are very well settled into cities, and in some cities people are even afraid of these monkeys, which are capable of tearing people’s clothes, and even severely bite them.

They live alongside people in parks or in the streets, which is why it’s easy to encounter them. Avinash Lodhi became convinced of this while he was taking pictures in a park and witnessed a great tragedy that happened to a mother monkey.
