People who have the least are capable of giving the most, they’re happy to share and help others, which is something this one couple was convinced about.
It’s easy to give when you have a lot. Taking pictures of yourself showing how you gave thousands to a charity, when you actually have millions in your account. Of course, any form of assistance is welcome, but doing it for show doesn’t make you a generous person. What’s more is that people who have very little are able to share what little they have. They don’t seek the limelight, and instead their actions come from the heart, because they know that life can be hard. Poor and homeless people experience this especially as they have lost everything for various reasons and now they’re trying to have a life somehow.
Charlotte Ellis and her boyfriend Taylor Waldon, were convinced that it’s people who don’t have a lot, who offer their help in the most unexpected moments. One evening, they missed their train, it was cold out, and they had to wait another four hours! They sat, freezing, when a homeless man approached them, offering them his coat to cover themselves. They began talking, the man told them his story and when the train arrived, Charlotte knew she had a new friend she wanted to help.
