Not everyone has an equal chance in life. Some are born into wealthy families, some are born in poor households where it is difficult to make ends meet. The rich have it much easier, because a lot of their problems can be solved with money.
Of course, there’s no way to buy health and love, but you can definitely buy most material things. This already makes things much more convenient.
Wealthy people are rarely able to empathize with the position of the poor. They have no compassion or desire to help. Often they help to show off and to gain respect in other’s eyes. It is disingenuous aid, but it’s better than nothing. There are thousands of people who have need and really every penny counts.
