The scientists knew perfectly well that it was nothing more than a polar bear. The only question was why they had gathered in one place in such a large number. The explanation came shortly after. The researchers saw near the land the dead carcass of a dead whale. The animals smelled its intense smell and came from the farthest reaches to feed. They tasted great pieces of the delicious marine animal and went away to consume the meal alone.
More than 230 males, females and small bears were counted, benefiting from this delicious feast. Such a bite does not come every day, so that day hungry animals had a real fish feast. Due to the warming climate and the melting of the ice glaciers, the polar bears lose their natural habitat. It is increasingly difficult for them to get food because the dissolving ice disturbs the natural reproduction of seals that are the main source of food for bears.
