Animals also have a rich realm of feelings, they like to live in herds and go through life together, they can love and feel unhappy when they experience a tragedy.
This is especially true for elephants, very emotional and wise animals, who love the members of their herd, which they live with their entire lives. Elephants protect their young and care for their elderly. Unfortunately, elephants are experiencing evil at the hands of some people. They are killed for ivory, and trapped in circuses and zoos. In countries where elephants live in the wild, they are also used for tourism, imprisoned and accustomed to life in captivity.
Unfortunately because of this these animals suffer greatly. Particularly when they are tormented, neglected, and taken from their mothers, elephants do not have opportunities for a better life. These intelligent animals experience their slavery deeply and lose the will to live. That’s exactly how Baan Yann, 50-year-old elephant, suffered when he was used to carry tourists. He landed in a shelter, and when the staff found her, they desperately needed her for professional help.
