This house looks run down, but the interior is extraordinary. You’ll never guess which music star owns it

Judging a book by its cover is a huge mistake, because by doing so you could miss out on the incredible content inside of it. The same goes for houses. Even though sometimes their appearance from the outside isn’t impressive, they could boast a truly magnificent interior.

Even an inconspicuous-looking home could be turned into a dream residence. All you need to have is courage and imagination, which were definitely traits of great musician Lenny Kravitz, who turned a run-down shack in New Orleans into a unique summer cottage. If you like this one-of-a-kind house, it can be yours, because the singer has put it up for sale. Asking price: $1,160,000!

The house is over 200 years old and once served as a store. Later, the building was sold time and time again, eventually falling into disrepair. Around the year 2000, it was bought at a low price by Lenny Kravitz. The musician, along with a group of architects, decided to give the 1700 square foot building a unique character, reflecting his artistic and gloomy nature. The house was ultimately transformed into a Rock & Roll cave. It’s full of flashy elements with metal and ebony wood being the most widely used materials throughout the house. The pictures below will surely convince you to its unique character.

The house is destroyed from the outside and doesn’t make the best of impressions.
